High Desert Playback acknowledges and honors that we are located on the unceded land of 23 indigenous tribal nations, now known as New Mexico. These nations include the Navajo Nation, the Fort Sill Apache Tribe, the Jicarilla, Apache Nation, the Mescalero Apache Tribe, and the nineteen Pueblos: Acoma, Cochiti, Isleta, Jemez, Kewa, Laguna, Nambe, Ohkay Owingeh, Picuris, Pojoaque, Sandia, San Felipe, San Ildefonso, Santa Ana, Santa Clara, Taos, Tesuque, Zuni, and Zia.

High Desert Playback is a fiscally sponsored project of the New Mexico Foundation and a proud member of the International Playback Theatre Network.
