For the Love of Playback is your chance to dabble in the well-loved art form of Playback Theatre!
This community workshop is led by Danielle Simone (HDP Artistic Associate and Acting Coach) and Allison Kenny (HDP Artistic Director) who will take you behind the curtain to learn our process at High Desert Playback.
Practice the deep listening required to hear and “play back” real stories from the audience
Learn different short forms rooted in ritual, movement, music, and acting in a low-pressure, celebratory space
Imagine ways to incorporate playback theatre in your arts practice, activism, youth work, or as a community engagement tool.
