Make your voice heard.
High Desert Playback works in partnership with the City of Albuquerque to engage community members in helping shape the future of our city.
Happening now
High Desert Playback is working with the City of Albuquerque Long Range Planning Department to engage folks living and working in the Near North Valley and North I-25 planning areas. We use the art of Playback Theatre to listen to your hopes, wishes and dreams for your neighborhood.
The Near North Valley planning area spans between the Rio Grande to the west and I-25 to the east and between I-40 to the south and Montano Ave to the north.

City Planners are tasked to figure out where homes, businesses, parks, roads, and schools should go so everything works well together and ABQ stays a great place to live.
Artists create products and processes that inspire folx to express their true selves, connect to others in deep ways, and make meaning in a complex world.
When City Planners + Artists come together to listen to your hopes, wishes, and dreams, we shape the future of our city for the better!
Make art. Break bread with your neighbors. Share stories of home. Make your voice heard.
